sometimes the lord will have to break you to mould you into his very likness

Lord make me and mold me into the person You want me to be. The Bible says in Isaiah 64:8 that He is the potter and we are the clay.

Let's be who He wants us to be!!!!!

Why do my lips sing, “Break me, melt me, mold me, fill me” yet my selfish heart cries, “Bless me, extol me, affirm me, approve me, provide for me?” Could it be that I tend to forget one of Scriptures truest principles? God develops the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives by allowing us to experience circumstances in which we are tempted to express the exact opposite quality.  God wants to teach us biblical love by putting unlovely people around us. God’s classroom for teaching us  genuine joy is the place of sorrow. It is in the midst of chaos and confusion that you discover real peace. God’s method of character development is to “break you, melt you, mold you…” “Mold” me.  The dictionary defines the verb “mold” as “to form, shape, fashion, model an object with a particular shape.” God’s plan and purpose for my life is Christ-likeness (Romans 8:29); so the Divine Potter kneads and pounds and pushes and pulls and hammers until the stubborn clay is pliable and ready to be fashioned, shaped, formed, “molded” into His vessel of pleasure. It is the process of becoming flexible, bendable and malleable, that is so painful and yet so necessary. “Mold me, Lord.”Going through changes literally and figuratively? Is it a rough time in your life along that bumpy road? If so, I want to give you a reassuring message today. I have been there too. Believe you me, it can feel really scary. But you know what? Having gone through big shifts in my life—some good, others bad—I see that transition builds amazing strength and character in you. Not only that, but when you’re walking in God’s will, transition positions you for the enlargement of your territory.

There are few people I know that don’t like the sound of being enlarged. Less, however, enjoy hearing about being stretched. But you can’t have one without the other. In order to be enlarged, you’re going to be stretched, often, beyond what you believe is your breaking point. But you will not break!!!
For me, the past couple of years, although filled with His undeniable blessing, has been one of the most breaking and melting seasons of my lives.  I have questioned His guidance and did not know that I am here for such a time as this. His tools have been adversity, pain, death, struggles, loneliness, stress, and of all things, mold. Yes, mold me, did i really pray; mold me lord.
And just when I thought that the Potter has concluded His work, He thrusts me into the entrance of the flaming furnace. Maybe the words by Kristine Wyrtzen will encourage you like they have encouraged me too. “The Fire – I’ve been through a fire that has deepened my desire, to know the living God more and more. It hasn’t been much fun, but the work that it has done in my life has been worth the hurt. You see sometimes we need the hard times to bring us to our knees otherwise we do as we please and never heed Him. For He always knows what’s best and it’s when we are distressed that we really come to know God as He is.”
we tend to  want to have more peace joy, strength, perseverance, endurance, patience, and productivity in their lives, but they don’t want any parts of going through what is necessary to get it.
we forget that James 1:3 NIV says, “…the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” Stop believing that every season is a season of prosperity. There will be seasons of trials, stillness, and pain. Just know God has a plan."You have been assigned to this mountain\ that certain season to show others it can be moved.
If you want an increase in blessing, get ready for an increase in testing. The two are related. But that is nothing to be depressed about. Again, God has built us to last. His sustaining power lives within us.
Right now, whether you’re facing challenging money problems, health woes, emotional highs and lows, relationship struggles, or some other devastatingly difficult upsets and personal crises, know that it won’t always be this hard. God has great things ahead on the other side of this transition. Keep moving. Keep believing. Keep expecting as you’re expanding

Through it all, God is building you up. Just wait and see!!!!

prayer : God, I feel stretched beyond what I can handle and overwhelmed at times, but I know You’re getting me ready for something greater, even though I don’t quite know what it is. So I ask that You give me the grace and favor I need to endure this stretching season that leads to my enlargement, all for Your glory.

                           In Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Jeremiah 18; 1-10)
