Isaiah 40:31, but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Woow we are half way through the year. I was just thinking some people would have lost hope or faith in the lord. Nevertheless in this season the lord is saying i will renew your strength so that you will finish your race strong and in perfect peace. the same God who started with us will finish with us. Remember that He who began the good work in us will see it to completion, Philippians 1;6. "To wait upon"  means, "to bind together (by twisting)." Those who wait upon God are in a sense wilfully binding themselves to God’s will, confidently expecting His plan to produce the best possible results.
