Eternal life is a free gift ready to be received.

Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. Rev.22:17 Jesus died to rescue us from our sins and reconcile us with God. He rose from the grave and is alive now. Because of this, every wrong thing we’ve done can be forgiven, and we can have new life today (Eph. 2:1–5). And one of the most amazing things about this is that it is all free. We can’t buy the new life Jesus offers. We can’t even donate toward the cost (vv. 8–9). It’s all a gift. What does the phrase “dead in your sins” mean? (Eph. 2:1). Dead means lifeless, powerless, inanimate. It means we were incapable of doing anything to change our situation. Sin refers to our rebellion against God. Humanity instinctively rejects God, and this rebellion is expressed through words, deeds, and attitudes. “For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23 The spiritually dead have no relationship with God. To be spiritually dead means we are comple

Activating the Ministry of Angels

Image
Angelic ministry   Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14(Amplified) Are we conscious of the Spirit within us? Are we aware of the angels of God ministering along with us? How does fasting and prayer play a role? These two devotional elements in our lives are lethal to the enemy, explosive, being essential to the awakening of our spiritual senses and to the activating of angels. (Daniel 10:3,12-13) David tells us that prayer returned to his heart when he fasted. (Psalm 35:13) This tells us that it was more than words for David, but that the spirit of prayer was awakened within him. God’s Word is also awakened within us through this radical expression of devotion. As well, the angels of God are activated by the Word of God spoken in faith. (Psalm 103:20) Now more than ever we need to be awakened with bright eyes of faith not only to the Spirit within us but t

Restoration

Nehemiah recorded the reconstruction of the wall of Jerusalem, Judah’s capital city. Together, he and Ezra, who led the spiritual revival of the people, directed the political and religious restoration of the Jews in their homeland after the Babylonian captivity. So give this book of Nehemiah is a good prayerful reading. The walls were built in 52 days (Nehemiah 6:15). It will take at least that much time to get your defenses back up. But even then the enemy can get in through any unguarded gate, so you have to continue to be watchful and alert. In the final chapter of Nehemiah we find that many years later the people had furnished an apartment for an enemy in the temple of God (Nehemiah13:4-9). Anyway, the main thing is to develop a close and intimate relationship with the Lord during your recovery, and He will alert you to all the schemes of the enemy and all the tricks he uses to get into your life, and how to kick him out wherever he might get a foothold. The book of Nehemiah sh

The power of Praise and worship

Image
Praise and worship Elevates us into God’s Presence and Power Be careful with the music that u listen to, they is power in praise and worship, guard yo spirit, don't just allow your ears to listen to anything.M usic is prophetically motioned to carry life in it.. . . Paul and Silas knew the secret of how to lift their hearts above their troubles and enter into God’s presence and power. Through praise and worship their hearts were raised into the joyous presence and peace of God, and provided God a channel for his power to operate in their circumstances.Yet, in spite of the throbbing pain in their bodies and the disheartening atmosphere, at midnight Paul and Silas were heard praying and singing praises to God! What a strange sound this must have been to the other prisoners, who were used to only hearing the groans or cursing of those who had been beaten. Understand that when praise go up His glory comes down. The Bible says that God inhabits in the praises of His people (Psalms 2

A SATISFIED SOUL

“Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am. ’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,  if you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.  The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.” Isaiah 58:9, 11 NKJV  Do you ever feel like your prayers are going nowhere? How do we pray in such a way that God not only hears our prayers but answers them? Isaiah gives us a clue. We need to remove the yoke of sin, drop the finger pointing, and speaking wickedness. As Christians our actions can block the move of God in our lives. The Jews were going to church, learning scripture, and even fasting but nothing was happening. It’s because their actions

STAND LIKE JEREMIAH

See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”” ““Therefore prepare yourself and arise, And speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed before their faces, Lest I dismay you before them. “They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,” says the LORD, “to deliver you.””  Jeremiah 1:10,17, 19 NKJV There is no harder calling in serving Jesus than the Jeremiah calling. He was called to speak truth and stand for righteousness in the face of adversity. It wasn’t easy and that’s part of the reason Jeremiah was known as the weeping prophet. He was in Jerusalem when it fell to Babylon. He was the one standing before wicked kings and priests calling them out before God. He was thrown into a water cistern where he sunk up to his knees in the miry clay. God called him to do some crazy things as well. It wasn’t an easy life and he wan

Taking Possession Of your Inheritance, Taking Authority By Divine Command

Image
Are you possessing your land/ taking territory God wants you to take authority over your area of influence and effect change there. Matthew 28:28 Jesus tells us that all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Him, and He in turn sends us in His place, with that same authority. Just as Joshua took over when Moses died, and He believed God completely that God would be with Him and protect the Israelites, WE have to step up and stand in Jesus’ place on the earth, believing with all of our hearts that God will never blink, never sleep, never sneeze or in any way fail to do whatever we ask in Jesus’ name for the kingdom. Look at what God promised Joshua"Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Everyplace that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses." Joshua 1:2-3. When Israel

"The Battle Is The Lord's"

God wants us to stand still and see Jesus our salvation fight for us.... As God led the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery, He brought them to a tight spot. As the powerful army of Egypt approached from the rear, the Israelites saw the Red Sea in front of them and mountains to the sides. They saw no way out! But God is not limited by seemingly impossible situations. He obviously knew what He was going to do. Moses may not have known exactly what God had in mind, but He believed what God said and faithfully passed on God’s encouraging message. When God is on our side, we do not need to fear or fret. God intended to fight their battles for them. They did not need to fight against the well-armed Egyptian army, which was possibly the greatest army on earth at the time. It was Israel’s own faithlessness that later led to God letting them fight their own battles. When God opened up the Red Sea in front of them, Moses’ message and faith prodded them to step forward in faith. G

“Rivers of living water will flow out of your innermost man”

Here’s the condition, though. He said,  “This will only happen if you believe on Me in the way the Scripture says” .  Rivers will flow. You could call it a flowing river; you could call it a fiery heart or a fiery flame; it’s the same thing. Whether it’s a flowing river on the inside, as in John 7:38, or rivers flowing in the innermost man, or fire burning on the heart, it’s an identical concept. •    Jesus said in John 7:38,  “Rivers will flow.”  I’m paraphrasing, but there’s a condition. People don’t read the condition, and the condition is this:  “If you believe on Me in the way the Scriptures describe believing on Me.” •    If you go through the New Testament looking for it, you find the biblical definition of believing is believing that incorporates a spirit of dedication, a spirit of devotion, and a spirit of grace. •    I’ve found that many, many people approach the Word with two of the three. You have to believe on Him in the way the Scripture says. You can’t pick t

Holy Spirit: The muscle of God

The Spirit Helps Us in Our Weakness But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.  Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.  And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:25–27   Paul is saying … that our failure to know God’s will and consequent inability to petition God specifically and assuredly is met by God’s Spirit, who himself expresses to God those intercessory petitions that perfectly match the will of God. When we do not know what to pray for—yes, even when we pray for things that are not best for us—we need not despair, for we can depend on the Spirit’s ministry of perfect intercession “on our behalf.” In this particular season of my life i found i saw the power of the holy spirit moving in my prayer life w

Why is serving God important?

Is it really necessary to serve God? What is the purpose of changing our priorities to accomplish tasks that God could honestly do better and more quickly without us?  Acts 10:34,35 - God is no respecter of persons. In every nation, those who fear Him and work righteousness are accepted by Him. Everyone can serve God successfully. This is not just for other people. It includes you and me. [2 Peter 3:9; 1 Tim. 2:4,6; Titus 2:11-14; Acts 2:38,39; Mark 16:15,16; Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 1:16] Peter addresses the importance of serving God in  1 Peter 4:10-11 : “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” Peter makes it clear that we have re

waiting on the LORD

Image
What seems like a delay in life could just be a divine appointment waiting to happen. Wait on it... Just because you can't see what God is doing, it doesn't mean that He isn't working. Habakkuk 2:3 says, "The vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end-it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay." What seems like a delay in life could just be a divine appointment waiting to happen. We get so caught up in what we don't have or what isn't happening that we obsess over it. God is still working things for your good and for His glory. That job, wait on it. That relationship, wait on it. Whatever it is, wait on it. Bank On God In Habakkuk chapter two, Habakkuk is concerned about everything that is happening around him. There is evil running wild, and he wants justice. He wants answers. God gives Habakkuk a vision detailing His answer to Habkkuk's concerns and complaints, but be

He who promised is faithful

My family and I have been going through some very trying times in recent months, and many of the people who care about us often ask us how we're coping. For a long time, I wasn't paying much attention to how I was answering them. Then one day, it dawned on me that I was talking too much about my problems and the pain I was experiencing, and not enough about the faithfulness of God. I kept telling people how discouraged, bewildered, and confused I was, and instead of it making me feel better, it only made me feel worse. I had to ask myself, "Do you really believe all those things you are always writing and telling others about--or don't you?" When I realized that I did believe, I knew that I had to begin expressing my confidence in God's ability and willingness to deliver us from our troubles. As I began talking to others about the faithfulness of God, I began to sense a fresh sense of hope springing up on the inside of me, and I could finally see some light at
