 Steadfast Love: Deep clouds, deep mercy How could anyone cry out, “Great is your faithfulness!” in the middle of loss? The answer is that Jeremiah knew God could turn tragedy into triumph. He had a revelation of God’s steadfast love. A love that is resolute despite surrounding circumstances. In the middle of his sorrow, He finds hope and comfort in his God. Jeremiah said, Just as Jeremiah describes it in his book “The steadfast love of the L ᴏ ʀ ᴅ never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ( Lamentations 3:22–23 ). Have you ever wondered why Jeremiah says that God’s steadfast love and mercies never cease and yet they are new every morning? How is something that never ceases, new? A lot of people don't know how to wait. Society has an impatient, "do-it-quick, high tech, computerized, push button" mentality. We try to bring all that over into Christianity, but there are times when you have to be willing to wait.  You may be waiting for a major financial breakthrough in your business, a miracle baby, a job,healing or someone special in your life. While waiting patiently is definitely not easy, we need to be encouraged by some people in the Bible who waited for God for years until He fulfilled His promises. Consider Noah for instance, he spent many years of his life building an ark, some say a hundred and twenty while some argue that it took him seventy-four years. Promise Keeper Hezekiah was king of Judah and fell ill. The prophet Isaiah was sent to his bedside to tell him to set his affairs in order because he was not going to recover. Hezekiah wept and prayed to the Lord and reminded him how he had served Him in sincerity and truth. Since he became king, Hezekiah had spent his time tearing down the high places, groves, altars and idols to the false gods in the land. He had indeed served God. God Move Seeking a move of God is all in vain once we no longer seek with heart, soul, mind and strength the God of the move. What works, what lasts, is God Himself. Not what seems for Him, seems like Him or about Him. It’s God Himself. All else sooner or later will fizzle or fanaticis. Sometimes your spirit is just troubled and you fail to point what is really wrong with you. in Your christian journey you might find yourself in places which you never thought you would be or facing challenges which you never thought you would encounter. This might just demotivate you to pray, make you lose hope or crush your spirit. Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. Rev.22:17 Jesus died to rescue us from our sins and reconcile us with God. He rose from the grave and is alive now. Because of this, every wrong thing we’ve done can be forgiven, and we can have new life today (Eph. 2:1–5).
